Buckingham Street Unattached Garage Renovation
When asked to renovate an old city home unattached garage, I had no idea what an exciting learning experience this project would be.
Traditional Jewish families celebrate Shabatts on Friday nights, and they begin with a ceremony and finish the night with a feast. My clients always dreamed of having a space where families and friends could gather for this religious ceremony.
The result was a complete transformation of the garage by mixing old materials with new. The challenge was designing a space that honored my clients customs and traditions while providing functionality. Every detail and decision needed to be thoughtfully designed throughout the space.
